Support
We provide a full range of support services for business users. We currently provide support services for over 20 companies in the Peterborough area and two major publishing companies in London.
Whether it's a problem with just one machine in your setup or a problem with your entire network, we will provide the solutions you need to keep your business running smoothly.
Telephone support
If you have an urgent problem and we cannot get to you straight away, we will always attempt to resolve your problem by guiding you through troubleshooting procedures on the telephone.
This works best for existing clients where we are familiar with the setup but we are always willing to try the telephone route even if we have not seen your setup before.
Remote Support
We offer remote support via VPN (Virtual Private Network) connections to your network.
Using remote access and diagnostic tools for both Macs and PCs, we can solve some problems without having to visit your premises.
In many cases, this is the fastest, most cost effective solution.
Some reconfiguration of your network will be required. Reconfiguration of your computers will also be required but as both Macs and PCs already have remote access software built in, it is usually just a matter of activating the software.
Hardware repairs
Most of the problems you encounter tend to be either software or network related. However, should there be a hardware fault we offer a repair service for machines which are out of warranty. Although we do not, as a rule, supply hardware, we will supply the components necessary to effect repairs.
All repair work is carried out by Apple Certified Technicians.
Printer repairs

Computer upgrades
It is sometimes more economical to upgrade existing computers than to replace them. We can advise you on what is possible and whether or not upgrading is a worthwhile option. We only use top quality components for upgrades. We can either supply the components needed or advise you in detail what to buy and tell you where you will find the keenest prices.
Network services
We have considerable experience of designing and configuring networks for small to medium businesses.
File servers
Our preferred server platform is Macintosh OS X Server. It is robust and has all the features needed in business. It offers excellent connectivity for Windows PCs as well as for Macs.
However, we can also install and configure Windows servers if required.Email setup and management
Email is one of the most vital tools for any modern business. We can advise you on the best setup for your business using either a hosted service or your own mail server.
We use and recommend Kerio Mail Server. KMS runs equally well on Macintosh or Windows.
